Itinerary
Upon arrival in Zagreb, you will be picked up at the airport by your driver and transferred to your accommodation in the center.
Spend a leisurely afternoon walking the city center streets, filled with endless shopping, dining, and drink options. From Ban Jelačić Square, make your way through Kamenita Vrata to the upper town, before strolling through one of many parks of Lenuci’s Horseshoe – most notably, Zrinjevac Park.

In the morning, meet your guide and explore the capital city of Croatia. Start the tour at Ban Jelačić Square, pass by Zagreb Cathedral, the city’s most notable landmark, and stroll through the nearby Dolac Market, where fresh produce is sold every morning. Navigate your way to the Upper Town through Stone Gate (Kamenita Vrata) and learn about the history of Zagreb’s witches.
Admire St. Mark’s Church with its famed multi-colored roof, and Lotršćak Tower, whose cannon fires every day at noon. If operating, you can go on a ride to one of the shortest public- transport funiculars in the world for less than a dollar.
After the tour, you have the rest of your day at leisure.
Zagreb is home to many museums and art galleries so be sure to check one out. Some of the most famous museums are
the Homeland War Museum, the Nikola Tesla Technical Museum, or the ever-popular Museum of Broken Relationships.
Finish your evening at the historical Tkalčićeva Street, the main nightlife street in Zagreb.
After breakfast, take a private transfer towards the Istrian Peninsula. The Istrian Peninsula is often called “Croatian Tuscany” because it is a picturesque region with Medieval hilltop towns surrounded by forests and vineyards.
Admire the view of the towns on a panoramic drive before stopping in Motovun, a small town located on the hill. Its present appearance, with the city walls surrounding the center of the town, dates back to the Middle Ages.
Make a stop at a local family estate where you will meet a professional truffle hunter who will show you how truffles are found, prepared, and served. After the presentation, you will also snack on homemade products!
Next stop is in Grožnjan, also a medieval hilltop town surrounded by terraced olive groves and vineyards. This small town was almost forgotten until the sixties when become an artist center. Today you can find in Grožnjan numerous galleries with unique works of art.
Continue towards Rovinj, your final destination in Istria.
After check in at the hotel, spend the rest of the day at leisure. Have dinner in one of Rovinj’s world-class restaurants or walk through the narrow streets up to the sea promenade and enjoy the romantic sunset.
Enjoy a relaxing day in Rovinj. Explore the old town, walk through the narrow streets, visit the Church of St. Euphemia, and stroll down the colorful Grisia Street.
OPTIONAL: Half-Day Trip to Pula
Take a day trip to Pula, an ancient town, famous for its remarkably well-preserved Roman amphitheater.
Your local guide will take you on the tour and show you the real fragments of the town’s history, written in the ancient monuments in Pula Old town. You will also learn about Pula’s navy history and its famous residents. The last stop on this tour will be Colosseum, the most famous town’s monument. It was built by the Romans in the 1st century, and today is one of the few most completed Amphitheaters in the world.
Once used for gladiator fights and battles today is a historical site and exclusive stage for concerts and major happenings.
After the tour, have free time for further exploring and lunch on your own in one of the local restaurants.
Later afternoon, transfer back to Rovinj and spend a relaxing afternoon at leisure.
After breakfast, meet your driver in the morning and drive through the mountains towards Plitvice Lakes.
This day is reserved for off-the-beaten-path exploring of Lika County. Lika is famous for the beauty of Plitvice Lakes but is so much more than that. Due to its remoteness, it has preserved its culture and, while Plitvice National Park is popular with tourists, many hiking trails and unique local experiences are hidden in plain sight.
En route, your first stop will be Atelier Janja Gora in the remote village of Plaški, where you will join a pottery class and have a delicious traditional lunch with your hosts.
Afterward, you will continue to visit Udruga Tara, where local women will teach you the art of knitting.
Late afternoon check into your accommodation for an overnight. Overnight, Plitvice.
In the morning, check out from your hotel, meet your driver, and transfer to Plitvice Lakes National Park.
The lake system consists of 16 named and several smaller unnamed lakes, cascading one into the next. Plitvice Lakes was internationally recognized for its outstanding universal value in 1979 with its inscription on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The national park is a symbol of Croatia in the world and is one of the most popular sites in Croatia and the region. Spend up to 2.5 hours with a local guide, exploring the lakes, before choosing a nearby restaurant for lunch.
After the tour, continue your way to Split. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel, and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure, relaxing or exploring on your own.
Founded 1,700 years ago by Roman Emperor Diocletian, Split today is a UNESCO-protected historical site with several impressive locations, including Diocletian’s former residence, one of the best- preserved Roman structures in the world. Spend the afternoon at leisure, discovering how past and present mix among the old town walls.
Enjoy a two-hour walking tour with an experienced local guide and see life in Split through the eyes of a local. Let our guide take you back in time with thrilling stories about the history of Diocletian’s palace. Find out how tradition is mixed with the present while you stroll down the buzzing streets of the city center.
The afternoon is free for your activities. Visit local shops, restaurants, bars and many museums and sights Split has to offer. You can climb Marjan Hill for stunning panoramic vistas of Split or visit the Diocletian’s Palace cellars.
After check out, head towards Split Port to embark ferry boat ride to the Island of Hvar. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel.
Hvar is the sunniest spot in the country, perfect for relaxing on the beach and enjoying the view over the crystal clear Adriatic Sea.
In the afternoon join your local guide and set out on a half-day private excursion to cover the island terrain, admiring the vineyard- covered hills, thick olive groves, and fragrant lavender fields.
Stop for a traditional authentic meal at a family-run konoba. You will also spend a little time visiting a family-owned vineyard in the heart of Stari Grad Plain. An agricultural landscape set up by the ancient Greeks (and a UNESCO World Heritage Site) you’ll meander amid small villages in the inner part of the island in Stari Grad, Croatia’s oldest town.
After the tour, transfer back to Hvar Town and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Today set out on a full-day private boat tour to discover the islands of Biševo, Vis, and the Pakleni islands.
You’ll first cruise to the east coast of Biševo Island, to see the mesmerizing iridescent blue waters of Blue Cave. Upon landing on the island, you’ll transfer to a cave friendly boat before floating inside the cave to discover the natural phenomena.
From Biševo, you’ll then travel to the southern coast of nearby Vis Island and to the stunning pebble beach of Stiniva Bay. Your skipper might suggest a nearby bay if Stiniva gets too crowded.
After a full day of exploring hidden bays, you’ll return to Hvar in the late afternoon for an evening of your own making.
NOTE: This tour is organized according to weather conditions. Your skipper will adjust the route if necessary, and the Blue Cave entrance might not be available due to winds. Blue Cave entrance is to be paid on the spot.
In the morning, embark on a catamaran from Hvar to Dubrovnik.
Upon arrival, you will transfer from the port and check in at your hotel in Mokošica.
In the afternoon, meet your driver and head towards Dubrovnik.
Meet your guide and take a walking tour of the old town. Entering Old Town, you’ll uncover centuries of the city’s rich history as you listen to stories of local life and legends and of the importance Dubrovnik once held in the era of the Republic. Highlights include Onofrio’s Fountain, the 15th- century Rector’s Palace, Luza Square, the Church of St. Blaise (St. Vlaho), and the café-lined streets of Brsalje Street.
After the tour, have some leisure time for further exploring on your own before returning to Mokošica.
Spend the morning at leisure in Mokošica.
Mokošica, also known as the first Dubrovnik suburb, has been named after Mokosh, the goddess of fertility and protector of women. Located only a few minutes’ drive from Dubrovnik, it is surrounded by the high mountains of the Dalmatian coast and by river Ombla – which is according to many – probably the shortest river in the world. During the 16th century, Mokošica was the favorite summer residence for noble families from Dubrovnik.
In the afternoon, meet your driver and head towards a family estate in the Konavle region. Upon arrival and after a short refresh, you will start your culinary experience with friendly hosts at their family estate. Learn about regional gastronomy, take an active role in preparing your meal, and just have fun in the kitchen with other participants. And when it comes time to sit down and taste your efforts, you’ll have the added pleasure of sampling homemade wines paired appropriately with your meal.
